Move 3: Comparing Different Qualities

To Research

In this part of my Capstone I researched to find information from leaders and see if they corresponded with the research I found in "Leading Minds: An Anatomy of Leadership" This book is a collection of autobiographies from different successful and notorious leaders throughout history. This book includes people such as Pope John XXIII, Martin Luther King Jr. and Margaret Thatcher. I looked at all of these leaders and investigated which qualities they posessed and how they utilized their specific qualities in their leadership. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. was a fantastic communicator and because of this was able to gather a significant following by displaying his confidence, and communication skills at public rallies. On the other hand, Margaret Thatcher lacked compassion and that is what she was most remembered for. She did not care much for the people she represented and they resented her for it. I discuss how these qualities affected these leaders careers and why they are so important. My full Move 3 can be found at the PDF Link.

"Leading Minds: An Anatomy of Leadership" is the book I recieved from Mr. Inoyue during my research process. I used this book to begin my research into different leaders and their usage of leadership qualities. More about this book can be found at the button link.
